Kim Thurman is an independent genealogy writer and researcher. Pursuing her passion for genealogical research, she made the career transition from operations and supply chain management to professional genealogist in 2019. She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from the Boston University Center for Professional Education and is a graduate of ProGen 46. Kim is a former president of the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society in Medford, Oregon. She holds memberships in the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, and the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, as well as numerous regional organizations.
