Kristin is currently a Researcher at Legacy Tree Genealogists where she conducts research to help clients meet their research goals and learn more about their ancestor's lives. She was formerly the Digital Collections Coordinator within the University of Pittsburgh's Library System where she was responsible for the management of the university's digital collections, including HistoricPittsburgh.org. Previously she was the Manager of Rights and Digital Collections at the Andy Warhol Museum. Before moving to Pittsburgh, she worked as a researcher at the New England Historic Genealogical Society in the Research Services department. As a staff researcher, she specialized in synthesizing documents to create narrative biographies of clients' ancestors. She also was a co-author for the Tracing Your Roots column on Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr.'s culture website, The Root. Before working at NEHGS, she was an Archival Digitization Specialist for Ancestry.com.
