Megan Clark Young

Megan Clark Young is the owner of MACY's Genealogical Research. She is on the Board of Directors for the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society, where she chairs the First Families of Western Pennsylvania lineage society.

Megan lives in a small community in western Pennsylvania, where most of her family has lived for over 200 years. She has over twenty years of experience tracing her ancestors back to eastern Pennsylvania and across the pond. She specializes in Scots Irish research and their migration patterns through Pennsylvania and into the southern colonies. The daughter of and descendant of several Presbyterian ministers, she also specializes in Presbyterian church records.

Megan is a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. She and her husband, Justin, have two elementary-school-aged daughters. They enjoy taking RV trips each year, often to areas for Megan to conduct genealogical research.
