Genealogy has been my passion since I was a young girl. Over the years I have continually honed my skills as well as developed a deep appreciation for local history. I have experience with deeds, bounty records, migration patterns, court records, censuses, colonial documents and newspapers, Plymouth Colony records, style guide development, and genealogical writing and editing. Through my association with the Old Bridgewater Historical Society, I am experienced with non-profit organizations, board management, accessioning procedures, digital archiving, grant writing, volunteer management, article writing, newsletter development, advertising, social media administration, event management, lectures and presentations, and more. I am a very experienced computer user, and have developed websites, forms, and procedural documents, as well as designed building security systems.
Quite a bit of my personal research is focused in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, Warren County, New York, and Rutland County, Vermont.
Genealogical Research Certificate - Boston University - December 2018.
I was President of the Old Bridgewater Historical Society from January 2016 to May 2021.
I am currently a Silver Book Researcher for the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.
