I am transitioning to a career in genealogy after 20 years in the social work field, which included seven years in private practice as a psychotherapist. I have educated myself in genealogical research methods by engaging in various educational programs over the past several years. I have begun working on my certification portfolio as well as expanding my research into my own family history. I plan to begin taking paid clients within the next year.
