One thing you can say about us genealogists: we love the hunt and never tire of it.
I have been interested in genealogy since I was a kid. My father drew his own family trees by hand and my mother recorded information in a book. I inherited their materials in 2008 and began my formal education in 2012. Our family history is fairly straightforward and in 2018, ever looking for new challenges, I began researching for friends.
I am particularly interested in connecting the enslaved and formerly enslaved in North Carolina and am involved in several indexing programs. I auction off my services at school fundraisers. I will continue providing pro bono work but do not intend to teach or take paying clients.
