My genealogical focus is the Southwestern area of Virginia with an emphasis on Franklin, Floyd, Wythe, Montgomery, Henry, Patrick and Pulaski counties.
Education
I started my love of family history and the hunt for ancestors in 1995 and have maintained my passion for genealogy since then. In my full-time career, I work as a forensic accountant and auditor, conducting examinations and investigations of tax matters. I am a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and hold an active license in the State of Tennessee as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Additionally, I worked as a part-time college adjunct instructor for many years and have a love of for teaching and lifelong learning.
