I am a professional genealogist and speaker with more than a decade of experience helping individuals research, explore, document, and preserve their family histories. My work spans family history research, genetic genealogy, adoption and unknown parentage cases, historical DNA problem-solving, and public speaking. Guiding others on their genealogical journeys is one of my greatest passions.
As a speaker, I present engaging programs on genealogy, DNA, technology, and software topics at local, regional, and national levels—both in person and virtually. My presentations are designed to educate, inspire, and empower audiences, from beginners just starting their research to experienced genealogists seeking to expand their skills.
I hold a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and am a graduate of the 18-month Professional Genealogy (ProGen) Study Program. I have also completed numerous advanced institute courses, further strengthening my expertise in both traditional and genetic genealogy.
Before launching my genealogy career, I built a strong professional foundation in information technology. This background equips me with advanced project management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to navigate digital resources and tools with confidence—skills I bring to every client engagement and speaking event.
Helping others discover their family stories and connect with their heritage continues to inspire my work. Whether through research, coaching, or presentations, my goal is always to make genealogy approachable, accurate, and meaningful.
