Debra Koehler

ProGen Member Overview

My expertise is writing. I bring the writing, storytelling, and editing skills I have developed over 30+ years as a television writer and producer to genealogy. If you don't want to write it yourself, or if you'd like some coaching and feedback to help you write it better, I'm your gal!

As a researcher, my areas of interest include Polish immigrants from the Russian Partition and early pioneers to Oregon Territory/State. I do not yet consider myself an expert in Polish or Russian genealogy, but if you have basic questions, I might have insights that can help.

I am also a paralegal student with graduation expected in December 2021. Along with this, I am working to develop a working knowledge of forensics with a focus on land and probate records.
