Family has always been very important to me, including those who came before. There are those that I know (presently) and those that I desire to know (from the past). The curiosity about my ancestors becomes stronger with each passing day. Each fascinating story fills in the gaps of time. Their strengths remind me of my own strengths. Their weaknesses remind me of my own weaknesses. Each story has helped me analyze my own story. Many of them did the best they could with what they had. My greatest desire is to do the same.
