As a first-generation American (Dominican and Scottish), Elizabeth's passion is immigrant research and tracing families back to their country of origin.
Elizabeth was born and raised in the northeast in a bilingual household and recently moved to New Jersey after living in Miami for the last twenty years. She earned a dual bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish and is a graduate in Genealogical Research from Boston University.
She specializes in U.S. Mid-Atlantic states, Latin Europe, and Latin America, including the Spanish Caribbean, with a particular focus on Cuba.
She has access to all online genealogical databases and established international contacts to conduct onsite research in all countries of expertise.
Aside from working with private clients, Elizabeth was an advanced researcher on the international team for Legacy Tree Genealogists and is currently an independent contractor for Legacy Tree Genealogists, Ancestry ProGenealogists, and Trace.
