Emily Coffman Richardson

ProGen Member Overview

Emily C. Richardson retired from 30 years in higher education to follow her passion of genealogy by opening Kinsearchers, a firm dedicated to helping others find their ancestors and preserve their photos, documents and memorabilia. Growing up with a mother who was a genealogist introduced her to the importance of original documents in the pursuit of family ancestors. Emily is currently the secretary for the Texas State Genealogical Society, a director-at-large for the Fort Worth Genealogical Society, and a member of several genealogical societies in the DFW metroplex. Emily speaks professionally and teaches courses for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNT focused on genealogy.
