Since 2019, I've immersed myself in the intricate world of dual citizenship applications, with a particular focus on Italian lineage. My research often leads me to the Family Search Italian archives, where I meticulously comb through birth and marriage records. Since 2021, I've had the privilege of working as a research genealogist with the Italian citizenship acceptance program. In this role, I assist clients in preparing the necessary documents for their dual citizenship applications. This experience has honed my skills in navigating complex bureaucratic processes and uncovering crucial historical records. The work is both challenging and rewarding, as it helps individuals reconnect with their Italian heritage and potentially gain citizenship rights.
