Currently on the Board of the California Genealogical Society, where I coordinate media and serve as co-editor of The California Nugget magazine. I'm also an instructor in our monthly "Genealogy Basics" series. Areas of interest include colonial New England and early New York settlers; general 18th, 19th, and 20th-century U.S. research, particularly in the East Coast and Mountain West. I also have experience with Canadian and English records.
Following a career as a newspaper and magazine writer, I turned my interests to genealogy in the early 2000s. I completed the Boston University certificate (2016) and ProGen 37 courses and served as coordinator for ProGen 54.
