I have been researching genealogy records for over 25 years. I give presentations for genealogy societies, libraries, church groups, etc. about various genealogy research methods such as getting started, using websites like FamilySearch and Ancestry, Google Earth, newspaper research, organizing research, submitting names for LDS temple work, and more.
I have earned a Real Estate Broker license, an Associate Degree in Graphic Design, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Hearing Science, and a Master's Degree in Library Science.
I have attended too many genealogy conferences, seminars, webinars, and read books to count over the last 20 years.
My focus in research has been in the Midwestern United States, but I also have done work in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Virginia, Texas, Utah, Arizona, California, Washington, Hungary, Canada, Belgium, Germany, and the British Isles.
I have created the website www.AncestralLogs.com which assists genealogists to work together with family members, by sharing research logs, uploading evidence, and assigning tasks to each individual. It can also be used for client/professional relationships.
I have written a couple of articles for genealogy societies and local magazines on basic genealogy research.
