Keri Logan, MLS

ProGen Member Overview

Throughout her career, Keri has assisted people in researching, correlating, and publishing information as a librarian, researcher, writer, editor, teacher, and designer. Blending those skills with more than ten years of genealogical research led to the formation of Logan Insight, LLC.

She is an active volunteer for her local genealogical society, the Genealogical Forum of Oregon (GFO). She serves as co-editor and layout designer for The Forum Insider, newsletter for the GFO, winner of the Large Newsletter category from National Genealogical Society in 2022. She also designs event advertisements for the GFO Education Committee.

She worked on the publishing team of newspapers and scholarly journals, such as The Port Charlotte Sun Herald, Journal of Food Science, and the Association of Limnology and Oceanography: Methods. She copyedits for academics submitting manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals.

As an academic librarian at a liberal arts college, she trained students in research methodology. Teaching in the Czech Republic and India, she aided students with their language goals while immersing herself in their culture.
